EGIST SD 的開發核心，是讓 Eging Rod 同時保有輕快操作與足夠強度。木蝦釣法需要長時間拋投、持續抽動，並細膩感知潮流變化與軟絲觸餌瞬間。因此竿體不能只是輕，也不能只是硬，而必須在輕量、回復速度、感度與中魚後的支撐力之間取得平衡。系列採用以高彈性碳纖維為主體的 Unsanded Micro Pitch Blank，搭配無塗裝處理，降低多餘重量並保留竿身強度。Minimalist Grip Design 則透過 SKDPS 與 Carbon Pipe 結構，進一步削減不必要部件，讓整體操作更直接。導環系統全數採用 Fuji SiC Ring Guide，提升出線順暢度與高頻率操作下的穩定性。依照型號定位不同，系列分為 Carbon Solid Tip 與 Tubular Tip 兩種設定，讓細膩感知與操作速度能依照實際用途選擇。EGIST SD 並非單一標準型木蝦竿，而是一套能從小型木蝦、短尺 Run & Gun、泛用標準配置，到大型軟絲與遠投場景完整覆蓋的 Eging 系列。

S86L/SL 是系列中的 Light & Finesse 型號，搭載 Carbon Solid Tip。適合秋季小型軟絲、低活性或需要細膩感知的情境，能清楚掌握潮流變化與輕微觸餌。

S75ML 是短尺高機動型號。適合小型堤防、複雜磯場與需要快速移動搜索的場域，短竿設定讓操作、控線與連續抽動更俐落。

S82ML 是系列中的中核泛用型號。8 呎 2 吋長度兼顧遠投、操作與一整天連續作釣的負擔控制，適合作為標準木蝦主力竿。

S72ML+ 是短尺高泛用型號。可同時對應岸拋與 Boat Egi，適合需要更高機動性、較短操作距離與不同季節通用的釣手。
