SS4-Custom 採用 15t 與 24t Graphite 製作竿體，並透過 Unsanded Finish 工藝進一步降低重量。相較過去 BST-HM 的 2 節設計與 BST-EXS 的 3 節設計，SS4-Custom 進一步進化為 4 節式配置，將收納長度縮短至 39.5cm 至 44.5cm 之間，使源流探索與旅行攜帶更加便利。為避免多節結構造成竿身反應遲滯，原廠投入長達三年的測試週期，反覆調整各型號的力量分佈與彎曲曲線。最終實現近似單節竿的順暢彎曲表現與優異釋放節奏，提供寬廣的拋投容錯範圍與穩定的假餌操作能力。全系列採用 Wood Reel Seat 設計，經過長時間實釣與耐久測試開發完成。相較傳統金屬 Trigger 結構，更著重於舒適性與各類型雙軸捲線器的適配能力，無論是 Low Profile BFS Reel 或 Round Profile Reel 皆能獲得良好搭配效果。接繼部分採用 Spigot Ferrule 結構，使竿身於受力時能維持自然且連續的彎曲曲線，提升力量傳遞效率與操作流暢度。導環系統則全面搭載 Fuji Titanium Frame SiC K Guide，透過小口徑配置降低重量，同時提升操作反應與控制精度。
